Blazing red
At first I was indecisive between Redondo and Hermosa Beaches. But I eventually ended up at the breakwater in Redondo Beach and caught the sunset with the backdrop of Hermosa Beach Pier. I had high hopes because we had had such a great sunset run for days, but it turned out that it wasn’t the case that day. Nonetheless, when the sun reappeared right below the thick blanket of the clouds before dropping behind the horizon, it was blazing red. Part of me really wished that I had brought my 70-200mm lens to capture that red eye up close.
