The tide is out and the gravel bars loom up above the river's path. What a strange landscape we paddle through. The thunderstorm drifts off to sea. A problem of course of photographing from the stern of the canoe is that it is difficult to find original angles to shoot from. Here is where a drone would be handy :). I have held the camera over my head to see beyond the head of the boy bow paddler. Standing up would be risky.
