As if it were their own little island
We arrived at Laguna Beach a little bit later than planned. The sky was mixed with the early morning clouds just clearing up and the patches of of blue sky far out in the ocean. While waiting for the clients to change and come down to the beach, the lead photographer and I took some landscape shots, or seascapes. I noticed a handful of gulls resting on a lone rock, as if claimed as their own island, seen through a crooked U-shaped window. It was an illusion created by the cluster of rock formations in the foreground. It was definitely a shot that had me deploy my 70-200mm lens.
