One of my proudest moments in Scotland was pronouncing the name of this mountain to a Scottish man and not being met with a look of confusion at my mangling of the Gaelic language. Maybe he was just being polite, or maybe the hastily Googled pronunciation guides were paying off.
Its pyramidal form is one I've seen a thousand times through others' photographs but never before through my own eyes. I don't know what it is that a camera cannot capture, but it can never truly show the imposing beauty of a location like this. Nevertheless, I was determined to try.
