I borrowed a quote from the poet Robinson Jeffers for a title because this mass of sandstone feels the same as in that poem. I have placed the black trees in the foreground, included just a portion of the cliff and some sky. Three simple components to represent the whole, just as the poet chose his word images carefully to communicate. There is a big overlap between writing and visual imagining in terms of framing and organizing, expressing in a coherent form.
