Strong lines and rich evening colours made this work for me as an image. Typically for me it is not just a picture of an orchard, what it looks like, but the selection of a portion of the whole that speaks of the universality of commercial growing, of the selecting and organizing of plants to produce for us. And then of course we must think about ourselves and how we too live in organized and often restrictive societies. With all of that however there is a kind of beauty in this image that speaks of living things, of sunlight and darkness, of growth even within the conformity. Like us.
