3 months ago my husband and I moved from South Orange County to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. And today one of the deer that lives on our property gave birth to a beautiful fawn. Mama was proud to show off her new baby to us. Still sticky with goo and not steady on their feet they made their appearance. I shot this with my 80-400 lens to keep my distance. What a wonderful addition to our gang. We couldn't be more proud parents. lol

As of this morning we now have 4 fawns that were given birth on our property. We now call this one Pint, then we have twins that we call half pint one and two and today we saw for the first time quarter pint. I could watch these beautiful creatures forever. The fawns are absolutely hilarious to watch doing their laps around the property.
