Behind The Lens

I took this photo at the San Diego Zoo

Mid-day
Lighting
The lighting was not the best at this location. But I made the best out of the situation.
Equipment
Nikon camera D600, Nikkor 28-300mm lens
Inspiration
This male Malayan tiger was absolutely stunningly handsome! I could not pass up the opportunity to take his photo.
Editing
Yes, I did do some post-processing as the tiger was in a covered area but with the sun shinning in the background. So, I had to lift and brighten the highlights on the tiger.

Nikon camera, cleaning kit, lenses, filters
Feedback
Do not go to the zoo when it is busy!!!!!! I was extremely fortunate to capture this photo as I had a crowd pushing and shoving me. And a 6' 5" man standing right in front of me. I only had a brief moment once the crowd cleared when the tiger looked directly at me. I snapped as many photos as possible and hoped for the best. Luck was on my side that day!
