We all know how hard we work to avoid what used be called grain ( noise, digitally speaking) in our images. We shoot with low iso, we buy yet another expensive camera that will ( so they say) permit lightning speed and sharp smooth images, but seldom ask what would our image look like if we emphasized the grain. I myself like this look, it is obviously not accidental.
