Location
This photo is taken at Indian Canyon, Mystic Falls in Spokane, WA.Time
After a long hike, we decided to cool off in the fresh cold water as we dipped our toes in the nearby stream. It was high noon. I decided to pull out my wardrobe from my camera bag and aim for a creative shot with no real expectations. The mosquitoes were eating me up so bad, that we only had a small window of time.Lighting
The lighting was an off camera bare flash to help with lighting the darkness of the cove.Equipment
Canon 70D, 2.8, SS 125, ISO 125, off camera flash on stand.Inspiration
I have always loved the mystery of a ballerina in unusual settings. So I felt this was perfect because it leaves the viewer asking questions.Editing
For post processing, dodge and burn was used as well as enhancing clarity. In my camera bag
My Sony a7riii with my 50mm f1.8, 70-200 f4, 16mm 1.8 and ad200 flash.Feedback
Get outside, have fun and try new things. Sometimes you can even capture a "creative accident" while experimenting with settings and surroundings.
