Native to the Philippine Island of Bohol, the Tarsier is a tiny carnivorous primate. Each of it's eyes are as large as it's brain. it grows to full size at 3.5 to 6 inches and weighs less than 6 ounces. It can jump up to 40 times it's length. As it is not allowed to photograph these animals using any supplemental light or monopods or tripods, it is necessary to shoot handheld under natural light. People also may not leave the path through the forest so long lenses are needed.
