I had climbed the first part of Dune 45 in Sossusvlei, Namibia when i noticed these 2 guys heading for the summit. The massive contrast of red rusty sand against cobalt blue skies created this curvature from the lower left corner to the top right corner. I never made it to the summit but I watched these two guys reach it eventually. Not without a couple of rest breaks in between. The red colour of the desert sand is actually caused by iron particles in the sand that rust from the mist that flows in from the atlantic ocean.
