Little sanctuary that we found ourselves in
Our slow morning adventure was followed by a short hike to Navajo Falls. Those who hike into Havasupai Campground can’t miss this falls because it is located literally right by the trail. It consists of two separate waterfalls several hundred feet apart - Upper and Lower Navajo Falls. We began our exploration with the Upper first. I was quite amazed by how nicely it was falling, considering how dry the season had been. This was the closest image that I was able to capture without getting myself wet. I liked the canyon top with the cell tower (or maybe radio tower, but, as a matter of fact, we were getting cell signal at the falls when we couldn’t get, understandably, anywhere else) as a backdrop from this angle anyway. It was a little sanctuary that we found ourselves in. We took a quick snack break here.
