This was an early morning shot in the autumn on the banks of Glendhu Bay in Wanaka New Zealand.Time
I was holidaying just gone for an early morning stroll with my Nikon before breakfast along the lakeside and thought " there's a nice shot"Lighting
It was an early morning shot so the light was still soft and being surrounded by hills also added a bit of mystery to the captureEquipment
I used an old D90 Nikon and a very standard lens that came with the camera.Inspiration
I was looking for anything that caught my eye along the lakesideEditing
Yes I played around in Photoshop to get the desired effect to enhance the image I wanted an almost fairy tale look for the capture because that is what it felt like on the day.In my camera bag
I now have 3 Nikons D90, D7100 & the D800 with a collection of lenses also do aerial photography with my phantom 4 pro drone...so I guess you could say I'm truly bitten by the bug.Feedback
I think that with a little imagination and skill in regard to composition and lighting one can capture the moment and then in post processing get the desired effect that is pleasing to the eye.
