Forceful nature of this creek water
As hiking back along Havasu Creek, I was often left behind alone due to many stops that I made while taking photos. I didn’t mind at all. One can’t take landscape photos by rushing through an area he-she is in anyway. The canyon got extremely narrow at times and created this dramatic and a bit surreal atmosphere with the sun glowing from behind the canyon walls. Some openings were quite narrow as if the canyon walls were closing in. It was hard to imagine that this canyon had been in fact created by the forceful nature of this creek water many many years ago, and now what was left was a pretty much shallow depth of stream that ran in the canyon floor.
