Upon setting foot in this Havasupai people’s land

We knew we started our hike early, but it was quite a pleasant surprise when we found no one but ourselves at Beaver Falls. So, we decided to take advantage of it before continuing down the trail to the Colorado River. Also, I loved the early morning vibe that had not been disturbed by the afternoon heat. While the light was hitting the canyon walls, which provided enough fill light for the creek in return, the majority of the waterfalls were still in shade. The vivid blue-green water and the surrounding greenery popped, pleasantly complimented by the brown canyon walls, glowing in bright orange. This is certainly one of the favorite waterfalls by many because its shallow depth of the pools allows them to soak themselves in the water forever. No one would argue that it is truly heaven on earth upon setting foot in this Havasupai people’s land.
