Last Fall I took a similar picture when there was very little water on the falls due to low flow in the river and the power plant taking what was left. These falls are also known as the Niagara of the west, while not as wide as Niagara Falls, they are higher.

Denali Highway lake

This small stream is a few miles east of Denali National Park on Denali Highway.

I was fortunate enough to capture a full moon setting over the Sawtooth Mountains as the sun was rising.

We were floating on the Chilkat River near Haines, Alaska when this one flew into the tree in front of us.
