The first time a saw these there was almost no water going over the falls as the power plant was diverting the flow. It was the same two weeks ago but warm weather has them booming. It is an impressive sight. These are also known as the Niagara of the west, and while not as wide, they are higher.

Denali Highway lake

This small stream is a few miles east of Denali National Park on Denali Highway.

I was fortunate enough to capture a full moon setting over the Sawtooth Mountains as the sun was rising.

We were floating on the Chilkat River near Haines, Alaska when this one flew into the tree in front of us.

This Bald Eagle is in Zoo Boise and was busy preening himself. The photo was one of many taken, but the only keeper in the group.
