For the first time in a couple of years i replaced my more normal lens with a telephoto. I planned to return to a familiar location, and felt i would see things differently and indeed i found it frustrating seeing only a constricted view. But the result was a series of interesting images. This photo centered around the oak branch twisting across the green firs was taken from a little hill directly into the tree tops. With a more normal lens i would have had to walk down and closer and then the angle would have been quite different.
