Breathtaking mountain skyscraper pleased my eye
Now that we turned northeast, our favorite view unfolded. Mt. Hoffmann, which we hiked the day before, rose in front of us, along with Tuolumne Peak to its left. Tenaya Canyon below us continued to stretch farther in. Speaking of Tenaya Canyon, we saw Tenaya Lake nestled at the bottom of Polly Dome, where we began our hike to Clouds Rest earlier that morning. Tenaya Peak and its slanted ridgeline couldn’t be missed. What an awesome view! The morning with no smoke whatsoever, let alone not a single cloud, offered an expansive view of the mountain range as far as my eyes could see. From what appears to be Mt. Whorl and Twin Peaks all the way to Dunderberg Peak (right side of the frame), a breathtaking mountain skyscraper pleased my eye.
