Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a friend's mountain home in North Carolina.

Time

It was the middle of the afternoon when the light was just perfect and the back drop was an old dirty White House.

Lighting

As a person who "plays" at photography, I have found that natural light is really the best option. The pictures have a way of really shining; at least that is what I see.

Equipment

I just used my Canon Little Rebel 35 mm in manual mode with a telephoto lens.

Inspiration

I love to take photographs of all kinds of things; I look for "displays" that draw me in. If I see beauty, something original, something that makes me smile, I take the shot. This one felt like painting that I was looking at in a museum.

Editing

There was no post-processing on this photograph.

In my camera bag

My bag is always pre-packed with my Canon Little Rebel camera and various lenses which includes two telephoto lens along with my newest addition, a bubble lens.

Feedback

I am a novice when it comes to photography and with the ability now of not having to develop film, I just keep trying different things and take many shots of the same thing because you truly do not know what you have captured until you proof them.
