The sun just sank below the horizon. The glowing sky looked fully diffused. Every surface now glowed in orange and magenta. The waves still kept breaking far out before they reached the rock shore, but the tides were slowly rolling in for the night. The water reached farther in every time in the company of a thin marine layer. The salty water found its way into every crack and crevice to fill in and retrieve itself out of.
