A rainy day brings a different ( difused) light to the forest,especially the sheen of water varnishing the smooth trunks of the arburus. In colour you would see the orange trunks against the green moss, and that is effective too. I had to choose and chose B&W. because I wish to prod the viewer towards taking one more step into the image than presenting a more representative colour version would have done. A small aperture keeps all in focus but I have placed my main subject up front. There is no part of the forest that will be fuzzed out however, and that is by my choice.

many images within photo. in forefront tree on bottom looks like an older gentleman with a beard. top of tree looks like a profile of a man with salt/pepper hair with white cape on. in between the trees on other side of rocks it looks like a man and women sitting facing each other as lovers do. Very Mystic.
