Location
I took this photo in my front yard one morning when dew was heavy on the ground.Time
It was in the morning, probably around 8:30ish.Lighting
I remember that I chose this particular morning because it was a bright, sunny day, and I wanted to use the natural light to my advantage.Equipment
I used my Canon Rebel t6i and a Sigma 70-300mm lens.Inspiration
I had just gotten into photography at the time, and I'd just discovered the macro function on my Sigma lens. I wanted to try it out on the dandelions, just to see what it could really do.Editing
At the time, I didn't know much about post-processing. I know that I cropped the image severely so that it filled the frame, but that's all I really knew how to do.In my camera bag
My equipment bag has grown to include my Canon Rebel t6i and a Canon Rebel t5. I have a Tamron SP 150-600 mm lens and a Tamron 70-300 mm lens as well.Feedback
Practice, play, and experiment! Spend time learning what all the buttons on your lenses do...I'd had my Sigma for weeks before I discovered the macro button, and to be honest, it kinda intimidated me. I had no idea what it meant and how it could change my photos. If I hadn't talked myself into trying it out, I'd have missed out on so much!
