This is a street shot taken in my local city, I have given it quite a gritty edit, to represent the Urban nature of the image. Using a nifty 50 I was able to get close enough to my subject to capture the detail and expression of my main subject, and also have enough of the rest of the scene within the frame to help create the story, and give a sense of place. I used a wide apperture to avoid to much distraction to the main subject.
