Looks like a 'Monet', I have a few of these but this one is really much better than mine. You captured a wider range of light.

Location
This photograph was taken at Mary S Young park at the waters edge in West Linn, Oregon. The park is a treasure trove of magnificent trees, a beaver pond, a dog park, paths, streams, picnic tables in the forested area with a marvelous vantage of the Willamette River from the rocky beach.Time
The mid day sun had just broken through the clouds. The water took on a life of it's own with the beautiful reflection and colors.Lighting
The lighting is what made this photograph pop. The reflection of the clouds, sky and sun made for a perfect combination.Equipment
Another wonderful capture by my iPhone 6. I don't always carry my Nikon camera with me, but my iPhone 6 is a trusted back up.Inspiration
The combination of light and the wind on the water created a rare and unique image. The wind gave the water a ripple effect and the blue tones were stunning. The trees and water had a very abstract feel and sense of movement. It looked like a Monet painting.Editing
Basically fine tuning and adding more definition to create a dramatic effect. In my camera bag
My camera bag is home to my Nikon D5000 with my go to Tamron 16 - 300mm lens. I also pack my Nikon 18-55mm lens. I keep a backup battery, Sandisk, cleaning solution and extra lens covers. The instruction booklet for my Nikon camera is a valuable reference.Feedback
Be ready. Know your subject matter and utilize the best light for your desired result. Take multiple shots from various angles. I find that taking photographs in all types of weather produces the most interesting shots. Be creative!
