I love the concept and creativity of this photo, the silhouette that is not a silhouette, the colour and location are fantastic and it is certainly and inspiring photo. The only fault that I am finding are the legs of the light stand on the boardwalk behind the couples leg. I must be in a minority though that find them distracting as it was winner and I do not want to take away from that.

Location
This was taken close to Cluj – Napoca in Transylvania, in the village of Sic, in The Reed in Sic Nature Reserve. There is about 1 km of wooden passages that go from the road above the reed beds and swamps to the other end, up to a hill from where you can see all the valley. From the wooden path, there are 3 or 4 observatories were you can go up and observe the nature.Time
It was afternoon around 5 pm.Lighting
It was a cloudy and rainy day, natural light was working against me that day. I had to give it a little boost with a strobe.Equipment
I had a Nikon D5200 back then, the Nikkor 50mm 1.8g lens and sb700 strobe on the tripod.Inspiration
The inspiration came from the rain and the red umbrella, which initially was not intended to be used in the photo-session, it was there just to protect the gear from the rain. I was walking on the wooden passage searching for some color contrast, then I remembered the red umbrella, I had still no clue how I could use it at that moment, but I knew that I needed it in the scene... then I took out my camera from the bag and realized it was set before on silhouette mode. At that moment the picture developed in my brain and I Knew exactly how my shoot will look like!Editing
The sun was absent that day and it was cloudy, so I had to recreate it with a strobe. In post-processing, I had to replace the grey sky with something that goes with the red light coming through the umbrella from the strobe. There is also a small error left in the picture intentionally (you can see the tripod between the couple and the shadows don't match with the light) this just to confirm post-processing, even if some people don't observe this.In my camera bag
Almost always my new best friend the D750 body and the following lens NIKKOR 70-300mm one of my favourite, NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G and a Tokina 11-16 wide. Sometimes I have also a speed-light and maybe an extra body(D5200) and of course a lot of battery packs and extra sd cardsFeedback
Our personality is as important as your pictures, so make your couple comfortable with your presence. Be firm with your requests. Clear guidance and instruction instil confidence in your skills. We can't all be comedians, but a little sense of humour goes a long way. Don't start snapping away right away. Try to observe for a while, look around, you might find something useful that will make your photo shine even if mother nature is against you.
