Behind The Lens

Location

Wolf Lake Alberta Canada

Time

As is my custom, I arose early in the morning, stepped outside with camera in hand because....you never know. As I walked to the firepit area, I turned toward the lake as I heard a loon call. I saw this scene developing before me and took several shots, this one being my absolute favorite. Exactly one minute later, the colors had all muted to soft pastel shades.

Lighting

All the lighting is natural.

Equipment

At the time I took this, the only camera I owned was a fujifilm point and shoot. Model Finepix S5700 S700

Inspiration

The stunning beauty of the sunrise reflected in the surface of the lake is what inspired me.

Editing

I used Adobe Photoshop to tweak the sharpness of the photo.

In my camera bag

Now I carry a bag equipped with - Canon EOS Rebel T7, 18 - 55mm lens, 75 - 300 mm lens, a variety of filters, lens ball, cleaning kit & a lens hood.

Feedback

NEVER go anywhere without your camera simply because....you never know what's going to happen and keep looking around your surroundings.
