Winter Cabin

We went to a local lake one Sept. evening and as we stepped from the car, we were immediately covered in mayfly's.
As we walked around the area,

While driving the back roads I spotted this beautiful red house nestled in the birch trees.

The beautiful and fascinating twists thrown by nature have always delighted me.

This was the sight that greeted me as I stepped from the camper at dawn.

While hiking, I spotted this little fellow standing tall and on guard against predators.

Exploring in the rain forest around Harrison Lake, BC I spotted this waterfall looking like it was straight out of a fairy tale.

On the beach in Vancouver BC.

Time

This was at 9:53 pm. I had been travelling all day and my Granddaughter had no idea I was coming to visit. I loved her expression as it was a mix of happiness and disbelief.

Lighting

This was one of those moments where the setting sun highlights your subject with the perfect gilding.

I used my Canon T3i

Inspiration

Pure love.

Editing

I used Adobe photoshop to slightly sharpen the image and darken it a bit which softened the look.
