Great atmospheric shot. The softness is great, but I wonder what it would like like if you were able to pick up some points of contrast/dark edges maybe in some of the trees in the foreground.

It is rare to receive a true critique.
Looking at this again, I agree with you, some added contrast in the trunks and branches would create a greater sense of depth.

I can be easy to get excited about an image and post it, without critiquing it ourselves first.
