Location
This photo of a Northern hawk-owl was taken in a small wooded area outside Copenhagen, Denmark. This species does not live in Denmark. They normally live much further north in the sub-arctic regions of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. Some winters come some individuals to Denmark. They sit mostly down on Zealand and in the forests around Copenhagen, where they hunt mice and other small rodents. These owls come from areas where there are not many people. They thus have no natural fear of humans, but is completely indifferent to people. In this case it tried on catching a mouse 5 meters from me.Time
