It was a gray day and there were many clouds in the sky. The gray sky really made the fall leaves color stand out a bit more.Equipment
I use a Nikon d3300, for this particular photo, I used a Nikon 18-300mm lens, with no flash. I use a proline tripod.Inspiration
The fall leaves where my main inspiration. I always try to have a general canvas, which in this case are the fall colors. I then try to find a major point of interest within my main canvas.Editing
I shoot in raw, I generally did the minimum, as I like to stay as true to the photo as possible. In this case I tried to bring out the fall colors.In my camera bag

It is always good to have a main canvas, which could be an interesting sky, and in this case it is the colorful trees. After you find your main canvas, always add your main point of interest.
