It was an early start about 7:30AM in early November heading up Mt. Huron, a 14000 foot mountain in Colorado. Two miles from the summit, the trail had packed snow on it which made it difficult. I learned my lesson and bought some slip on crampons and love them. My hiking buddy above is a speed hike so had been there for awhile waiting for me. Made it back to the car around 5:30PM.
