Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photograph at Butterfly Landing, the butterfly exhibit at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, Massachusetts.

Time

It was a about 3:00 in the afternoon.

Lighting

It was a bright summer day, but under a tent so the light was tempered.

Equipment

I used a handheld Panasonic DMC-LZ3.

Inspiration

I was taking photos of butterflies, but was really taked by the moth, the colors and patterns were just so interesting.

Editing

I made some adjustments lights and darks.

In my camera bag

My main camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300, but I also use a Canon PowerShot SX620 so I can always have a camera with me. I have extra batteries and memory cards in my bag.

Feedback

I am always more interested in looking for possibilities in what is around me than in worrying about technical issues. I like to always have a camera with me so a don't miss an interesting shot.
