Ive heard these were good to eat and I was hungry coming to the end of my 11 mile hike all I had eaten all day was a bunch of granola bars. I popped one of these red beauties peeled it and took a taste it was delicious. to my surprise it was full of seeds guess Ive never really given it much thought. The only down side I still have a tiny cactus needle in my thumb.
