Boredom is one way to spark some creativity. This shoot required virtually no planning other than borrowing a friends pick-up, but did require a fair bit of experimentation. We attached the camera to the edge of the truck with a clamp and drove around remotely triggering long exposures while driving through the city. We experimented with various shutter speeds until we came up with something we liked. Without moving the camera we then posed my friend in the back and re-shot the image in a dark location. The two images were then blended.
