A flat tire, horrible sunburn, and bad case of altitude sickness later I at least have this to show for it. I anchored my tripod and shot for several hours, capturing the scene as it played out before me. There is a hiker's flashlight off to the right, a crawler that came up the road toward me, several cars on the road down in the valley below, a bonfire flickering in the distant valley, and a nearly full moon just out of frame casting a beautiful glow on the whole scene. Photography is all about capturing what you observe. I wanted to show my entire evening in this single image.
