I have heard Glacier National Park can have some pretty stunning light so I did as I imagine many first timers do: head up to Hidden Lake Overlook. Or at least that was my intention. As we were driving I could not deny how beautiful this lake was with the soft light filtering in and so the overlook would have to wait. The trees in the foreground were taller than I would have liked and without knowing how long the light would last I was forced to hold my camera straight over head in order to isolate the island from the foreground more. I clicked a few shots and hoped for the best, slightly changing the composition between each shot.
