I have a fascination with eyes. I think they are beginning and the ending of a portrait picture, you can smile though the pain, but your eyes they never lie.Editing
I use Lightroom on this photo I even out skintones i pop the color of the eyes n clean up the faces a bit.In my camera bag

I would suggest a stool and make sure your not catching your shawdow when above them. I didnt have a flash at the time but it would be helpful on a sunny day.
