Location
I took this one in a nearby garden which is hardly 3 kilometres from my home.Time
on 31st July 2015 in a noon time at 1.50 pmLighting
I have chosen this time due to the light on it's wings from above to lit the creases of wings . Light always matter according to what subject you are clicking and what you want from the subject.Equipment
For this shot I use Canon 60 D lens 55-250 mm easy budget equipments . It was hand held.Inspiration
A detailed small world of God always fascinated me. 4 years back when was not in to Photography I used to find beautiful butterflies and nature wall paper from Google for my desktop. I am happy now that I am able to create my own now.Editing
I increased the contrast by 1 point and saturation one point .In my camera bag
It always depends what I am going to shoot. For streets I always keep 18-135 mm+ 10-18 mm+ 40mm For birding I keep 70-200 with 1.4 tc 55-250 mm and one of my Nikon point and shoot p610 for further reach and canon body 60 D but now I am also buying Nikon with 80-400 for wildlife and mammals.Feedback
My first advice is to relax your body and shoulders take a deep breath and while realising it take the shot as it will decrease the chances of shake in photo. Understand the light. Photographing wings is not easy birds or butterflies keep your shutter at least above 1/500 sec because you never know when a still wings start patting .so don't miss the shot. Making all in your camera is always a better option but if you're facing some different light moods do a little in Post processing but don't make it artificial.Good luck Happy clicking.
