On a warm August evening on the Oregon coast a heavy fog wafted in across the ocean and drifted across the mountains and trees. The Heceta Lighthouse beam flashes from on top of the distant cliff to guide ships and the keepers house glows with lights on. People cluster around campfires on the beach, walk the tidepools and enjoy the beauty of the ocean and fog as night falls.
