Easily one the most beautiful tigress from recent times, I managed to spend a good 30-40 min photographing her recently. During the safari, I spotted her slyly walking into the bushes. As she entered the bushes she crouched and lay still, and that is when the Naturalist told us there was a herd of spotted deer about 15m ahead and she was stalking them, no wonder all the silence. After a minute of stalking and getting really close to them, her cover was blown and the alarm was sounded. She tried to make a last minute dash, but luck wasn't on her side. When she came out of the bushes after the failed hunt, disappointment was clearly visible in her attitude. She kept roaring for the next five minutes as she walked ahead of us. A little later as she was crossing the game road, she stopped and looked at us, giving me this photo.
