This is an awesome capture! Could you share the type of lense you used! Again, truly awesome.

Location
This was from my first outing to the Royal International Air Tattoo, i had been to the Shoreham Airshow a couple of times but RIAT was taking it to a whole new level, the aircraft were mainly high speed fighter aircraft and a lot trickier to photograph.Time
From memory it was during mid afternoon, the clouds weren't great but you have to work with what you have.Lighting
It wasn't great to be honest, quite a flat grey which makes things tricky.Equipment
I used a Canon 1dx mkii with a Canon 100-400 L F4 mkii lens with a 1.4 extender. All handheldInspiration
That's easy, i love photographing high speed action images, I would even say i now prefer it to my landscapes etc.Editing
Only a mild bit of processing in Lightroom, I have tended to move away from heavily processed images as i have got better. In my camera bag
I usually carry enough stuff to cover all eventualities, i.e. 1dx mkii, 100-400 L, 24-70 L, 70-200 L and a 15mm Zeiss. I usually also carry a Manfrotto tripod.Feedback
Practice, practice, practice!!! It's not easy but the more you do it the more experience you will pick up and know what works and what doesn't. Also, take plenty of shots, it's only takes one good one to make your day.
