Love it. Where is this? It reminds me of a place I visit in South Wales.

Beautiful! Simply magical. I may be a huge nerd for this but it looks like an image from lord of the rings fellowship of the ring where frodo stands on the road before he black rider shows up

Location
This photo was taken at a place called Halnaker near Chichester in the UK, it is an old roman road that leads upto the top of a hill. This was taken on the way down.Time
It was the end of the day and the lighting was just right as the sun came down, it certainly enhanced the scenery.Lighting
I planned to go there just before dusk and this was my first visit there so didn't really know what to expect.Equipment
It was taken on a Canon 5d mkiii with a 70-200 f4 L lens on a tripod.Inspiration
I had seen images of the place on the internet as it has always been a bit of a hot spot for photographers, so decided to give it a go. I haven't seen any images though that are similar to mine for some reason.Editing
I bracketed about 5 shots and bought them together in the post processing. I didn't have to do a lot to the final images just the usual tweaks. In my camera bag
I usually carry a 5d mkiii, 1dx mkii, Zeiss 15mm, Canon 24-70 f2.8 L mkii, Canon 70-200 f4 L for landscape work. Also a Manfrotto carbon fibre tripodFeedback
My only advice is to go out and experiment, not everything will work and over time you will discover your own style and get a better understanding of what works and what doesn't. The main thing is just try and enjoy it
