Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Torquay, Devon on a family holiday summer 2016. We'd spent the day in Torquay and decided to go back at night so I could try to capture a good shot.

Time

It was during summer so, it was about 10:30pm

Lighting

All natural lighting nothing added

Equipment

I used a Sony A6000, with a sigma 30mm f2.8 art lens, used a tripod and had a ND filter attached.

Inspiration

I'd seen a few photos of the wheel on the internet, and every time I go somewhere I always research anything that will make a good shot.

Editing

The only post processing I did was to add a touch of clarity and bring up the details in the shadows

In my camera bag

I normally have, Sony a6000, sigma 30mm f2.8, Sony 50mm f1.8, my kit lens 16-50, tripod, and filters

Feedback

Research and practice are the best advice I can give, I use 500px website to find locations and to see what other people are shooting. Then work on getting an alternative or better image.
