Location
The photo was shot at the Shelton, Conn. reservoir- I was in awe of the perfect reflection, the water was completely still, imitating the cloudless sky. When I turned the image on it’s side it created another completely different perspective on an abstract level.Time
The image was shot around mid morning. The sun was just breaking a bit lighter from a previous fog effect. The clarity and perfection of the image was stunning to me.Lighting
Simple sunlight emerging from a fog effect created a softer feel for the image.Equipment
The image was shot with a Canon T3i, the lens was a 28-75 mm Tamron, hand held, no flash unit.Inspiration
The sheer color pallet, the serenity of the area and the mirror like water reflection created an “Awesome” opportunity for a great image!Editing
The image is presented as it was captured- no post production. In my camera bag
I normally carry 2 cameras - the T3i with the Tamron 28-75 mm lens, and a Canon 60D with a Tamron 10-24 mm lens, a gorilla pod, spare batteries and SD cards.Feedback
Living on the Eastern seaboard allows me to shoot the changing seasons- the familiar is always changing! See your own back yard as a stranger would view it!
