Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Machu Picchu, Peru.

Time

This was taken at dawn.

Lighting

Our group was fortunate to be able to enter Machu Picchu before it officially opened for the day and that's how I was able to capture the morning fog without there being any people in the shot. This was 2 months before MP was named a World Heritage sight.

Equipment

This was shot with a friend's old Canon. I didn't see any of the pics until after I returned home and had the film developed.I didn't even own a camera before this trip. It's what got me interested in photography.

Inspiration

It was a majestic view, one I'd always dreamed of.

Editing

No post processing.

In my camera bag

Just a Nikon D3200 and one switch out zoom lens.

Feedback

Framing is the key. I always try to think like a cinematographer.
