Behind The Lens

Location

In the San Francisco bay.

Time

It was about 7:30 p.m. on a hot summer night and I came home from work and jumped in the bay water to cool off. Suddenly I turned around and saw the most magnificent sunset. I swam to shore and grabbed my phone. The tide was coming in so I was up to my neck in water and holding my phone over my head snapping pics, hoping I'd get a good one. That wave on the left, slapped me in the face just after this shot and I got out of the water. Later that evening, I looked at the pictures I took and was stunned to see this one. It is the picture I am most proud of.

Lighting

Just natural lighting.

Equipment

Samsung Galaxy phone.
