On a cold, sub freezing morning we headed by coach to Yellowstone National Park toward its southern entrance. On the way, we stopped for this magnificent sunrise view of Mt. Moran in the Tetons. Much of this area in Wyoming was quietly purchased and donated by John D. Rockefeller, the great philanthropist, who did much the same in Maine for Acadia National Park. We should all be grateful for the men who had the vision and foresightedness to do this for the benefit of all.
