My step daughter and her friends are growing up, they've left college, they're headed into the world. Some of her closest girlfriends I've known as long as she has - and there's a group of girls I've watched turn into adults before my eyes. I always told these girls that when the time came, I'd be there for them to document their Big Day. In June, I flew to New Hampshire for a whirlwind trip to photograph this girl on her family farm where she grew up. I remember these kiddos playing in the pool in just their underwear as four year olds, I remember these kids sunbathing later in the yard, giggling, as tweens. I remember them learning to drive and no longer needing rides to each other's houses. And now I remember them all standing together in the sunset as Autumn said "I do," to her husband. What an amazing lifetime of memories in that yard, in this friendship, and in this one photo.
